Sepalumic,
french aluminium specialist for more than 55 years
Created in 1967, Sepalumic is a designer, producer and distributor of aluminium joinery systems for building professionals on four continents. A French company, behind the independent family group Valfidus, our mission is to contribute to the qualitative, visual and climatic improvement of all our living spaces. Windows, doors, sliding doors, curtain walls and verandas, as well as pergolas, gates, railings and sun shades… we design – with and for our customers – high-performance aluminium joinery solutions that are stylish, quick to manufacture and easy to fit.
A family history
In 1967, Jean Marc and Danièle Vidal-Revel (née Michaud) created Sepalumic (Société d’Etudes des Profilés d’Aluminium Michaud) in Mouans-Sartoux, in Alpes-Maritimes.
Sepalumic was the very first building block of what was to become, 3 generations later, the independent family group Valfidus. Initially a distributor, then a designer of its own profiles, the company took the plunge into production in 2005 to become one of France’s leading aluminium joinery specialists.
For over 50 years, Sepalumic has wisely seized opportunities to invest, adapt and revolutionise the world of aluminium joinery by bringing new products (the Occult’air window, the Confort²Vie® extension, the ILO pergola, etc.) and new services (I-Process, Project, International) to its customers.
With an entrepreneurial spirit and steeped with the values of the family group, Sepalumic has grown by always responding to its customers’ needs in keeping with the times. It was one of the first to open up new markets and now has logistics depots in Guadeloupe and Réunion and business units in Morocco and Senegal.
With 400 employees, 4 production sites, 1 extrusion site and 8 storage sites, Sepalumic is one of the top three 100% French aluminium manufacturers.
